Gail's Home — West Houston Exterior Wood Repair

In 2026 we took Paint It Forward to the next level, and Gail's home was the perfect candidate. The exterior hadn't been painted in over 20 years. There was significant wood rot, failing trim, and exposed fascia — leaving the home vulnerable to Houston's heat and humidity.

The Proud Paintbrush stepped in to perform a full exterior wood repair and house painting project. We scraped and removed all failing paint, replaced rotten boards and fascia, rebuilt the trim, and brought every surface back to something we could confidently coat.

With the structure sound again, we washed, primed, and repainted the exterior with a durable Sherwin-Williams system — protecting the home for the next chapter and giving Gail a house that finally looks cared for from the curb.
