Our Painting Process
Protect
Before work begins, we protect floors, furniture, landscaping, fixtures, and surrounding surfaces to minimize disruption and keep the job site clean.
Prepare
Preparation is one of the biggest factors in long-term paint performance.
Depending on the project this may include:
• Masking and protection
• Sanding and surface preparation
• Drywall repairs
• Caulking gaps and joints
• Spot priming or full priming
• Texture repairs
• Exterior washing and prep
Paint
Products and application methods are selected based on the project requirements.
We focus on clean lines, proper coverage, durability, and consistent finishes.
Inspect
Projects are supervised throughout production and reviewed regularly to maintain quality standards.
Final Walkthrough
Every project ends with a walkthrough to confirm the completed work and address any final touch-ups.

Finalize questions or revisions.
Discuss optional changes.
Planning calls are available before material ordering.
Weather and active projects can occasionally shift schedules slightly, but once work begins we stay until completion.
About One Week Before Start
Materials ordered.
Colors and sheen levels confirmed.
Parking, access, pets, and logistics reviewed.
Day Before Project Start
Optional walkthrough.
Repairs reviewed.
Rooms, finishes, and scope confirmed.
Project Start
Protection installed.
Prep begins.
Repairs completed.
Painting begins.
Completion
Final walkthrough.
Touch-ups completed.

Work Hours
Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday scheduling available when requested.
Daily Cleanup
We keep work areas as organized and livable as possible and clean up throughout production.
Communication
Larger projects receive progress updates throughout production.
Project oversight is handled by Owner Chris Petkau or a Project Manager depending on project size.
Change Requests
If hidden conditions or additional repairs appear, we discuss options and obtain approval before proceeding.

Will painting make the house messy?
Painting can temporarily look messy during masking, sanding, repairs, and spraying. This is normal and helps produce the finished result.
Can we stay in the house?
Most interior projects remain occupied. We coordinate room sequencing whenever possible.
Do I need to move furniture?
Light decluttering helps.
Large items can often remain in place and be protected, though advance notice helps with planning.
What about pets?
Pets should be secured during work to help keep doors accessible and everyone safe.
